On March 1st, Dr. Natalie Kreuzer will present the second
portion of Looking At: Jazz," a film and discussion series. Dr. Kreuzer will
lead a discussion of "The Jazz Age and Harlem as a Center of Jazz." Contact

March 1st will also be featuring the words of Joy
Passanante. She will be reading in the Gold Room on the U of I campus in the
SUB at 5pm.
Northwest artist and Pullman native will be releasing his
newest album "Songs to Get You from Here to There." Come to his CD release
concert Friday, March 2, at the Daily Grind at 8:00 PM.

This Friday, March 2nd, Sharon Kehoe will be
disseminating knowledge on the religious art of Mary Magdalene. Rooted in
French legend and folklore, the art and esteem of Mary Magdalene speaks to
the silences history has forgotten and humanity's curiosity for them to be
remembered. This talk will be at 7pm held in the Campus Christian Center on
the U of I Campus.
Interested in design? Bring suggestions for redesigning
our back stoop, then sledgehammers and cement for our Smash Urban Blight
campaign!
Speaking of roller-skates, mark March 3rd: Set the mood
with the Idaho Concert Chorale's Billboard Hits concert (which will be in
Pullman on the 2nd, Lewiston the 3rd, both at 7:30).
Keep it rolling with Moscow Mardi Gras (tickets are
available here), which begins at 9:00 and entails events at seven downtown
locations.
The University of Idaho's Women Center will be
participating in International Women's Day March 8. They will be sponsoring
a fair in the U of I Commons in the Clearwater Room from 11am until 3pm.
This is an international event, it "is the global day connecting all women
around the world and inspiring them to achieve their full potential"
(http://www.internationalwomensday.com/). The establishment of gender
equality is still under way and the U of I Women's Center is participating
in its cause.
Don't forget tickets for St. Paddy's in Palouse, a dinner
and dance on March 17th.
