Muparutsa, our new teacher and coach, to the community. Tendai, a lecturer
in music at Midlands State University in Gweru, Zimbabwe, has recently
arrived in Moscow to pursue a Masters of Music degree at the University of
Idaho
The following Friday, September 8th, we will be welcoming
Alex Kuo to speak about his new novel, The Panda Diaries at 8pm. Kuo is

scintillating story about an ex- secret service operative whose mailman is a

One more word...in reference to a book that we are
currently carrying. All politics are local and "Prince of Marshes" by Rory
Stewart develops the problems faced by American occupation of Iraq. Stewart,
who is a minor British Royal and a Deputy Governor of two provinces in
southern Iraq, shows the problems which resulted from the destruction of
Saddam's government and his environmental destruction of the marshes.
"Prince of the Marshes" is an important book for understanding Iraq.
Well, that is it. Hopefully we will see some of you here
to attend our events. I wish you all well, and have a pleasant evening.
Until we meet again! Bookpeople of Moscow
